    When automatic suggestion for internal consitency are not given (which is the case in 99%) a user should manually do the ticking. In FSS in DS version 6 the user first needs to click on the number, then on the reference and then on the tickmark. This is one click more than in version 5.

    It would be better if a user could click on the number in the balance sheet and P&L and immediatly can click on the reference and makes the tickmark. And the tickmarking is done automaticaly when there is only one reference.

  2. Highlights and Stamps in the PDF itself

    Currently, the version comparison functionality makes the highlights and show the snippings in the Excel file, it is great if it highlights the data and add a comment in the PDF itself as it is helpful in documentation

    DataSnipper to provide a trend analysis of financial statements. The goal is to calculate and analyze the changes in amounts in the form of values and percentages.

  4. Financial Statement Suite: Version Compare for Numbers AND Text

    It would be great if the version compare feature in FSS had the ability to compare text changes in addition to number changes.

    It would improve the quality of life for the end-user as they would no longer need to exit FSS to see a text comparison of 2 documents.

    Version compare - ignore headers/footers option

    We often use version compare to look at drafts of financial statements, each draft usual has something in the header/footer to show when the draft was made so when looking at these in version compare theres a huge amount of flagged changes that we don't need to look at.

    So if a range at the top/bottom could be set to be ignored or if we could enter specific text strings to ignore i.e. the draft message then that would make things much cleaner and the tool significantly more valuable

    An enhancement to capture manual work within DataSnipper so that the list of exceptions is a consolidated one and no adjustments would be needed

    It would be great if the Prior Year Consistency tab would scroll through both the current year document and the prior year document at the same time.

  9. Compare PY and CY Documents Within FSS Version Compare

    Create a more clear way to compare a current year financial statement PDF with a prior year financial statement PDF side by side using Version Compare within FSS. Currently a user has to import the PY financial statement as the current year document when initially setting up FSS and then select the CY document as the new version to compare the two documents within FSS.

    Since users on professional and basic no longer have access to the standalone Version Compare button, this issue affects these users most.

  11. PY error comment provided by the tool should specify the recommended value as per the PY file

    Eg: Error comment mentioned by the tool - "Inconsistent with prior year"
    Enhancement required - Tool to specify exact value in the error comment

  12. Comment Box Visibility + Export

    We would like the ability to add a comment box (similar to a sticky note in Adobe OR similar to the core platform where you can draw a box and add comments) to make viewing of comments easily identifiable for reviewing process; additionally, we would like the ability to export only comments.

  13. Flag large differences

    Currently, no casting is performed on 'large' differences. It would be good to have these flagged to show DS considered them but the difference was over a certain threshold, or allow the user to set the threshold (including no limit).

  14. Match figures in FS to front-end reports

    It would be great if the FSS module matched all figures from the financial statements to the front-end reports*, the notes, and specific note references.

    *for example, Strategic Report (part of group and some single accounts) and Directors Report (on all accounts)

  15. Bulk edit comments

    Same as selecting all the tickmarks and then changing them all to incorrect/correct/rotate ; can you add the possibility to bulk edit the comments in the tickmarks?

  16. Add possibility to add extra document

    Add the possibility in the FSS to add an extra document to check consistency with. Examples are: FS to TB recon, FS to budget sheet recon, FS to tax sheet recon, etc.

  18. Internal consistency on combined invoices

    Make the internal coinsistency possible outside FSS, so that invocie specifications/reimbursements can be followed more easily.

    Version compare marks change in font and formatting as a change. It would be great to have the option to select if change in font should be ignored.
