Enhance OCR accuracy to distinguish currency symbol and number
Currently, in Document Matching, Form Extraction, etc., a currency symbol such as "￥" is recognized as a number"1" or "7" when extracting the amount of money, especially if it is handwritten.

Arabic Numbers not being recognized
Arabic numbers are recognized only as characters rather than as numerical values, causing all number-related functionalities (such as finding all sums, sum snips, and FSS) to not work properly.

More Flexibility in Excel to PDF Import
When importing Excel workbooks, DataSnipper currently creates separate PDFs for each tab, saved in the original folder. This can lead to a cluttered and disorganized folder structure.
Requested Features:
Selective Export: Allow users to choose which tabs to export as PDFs.
Destination Folder Selection: Let users specify a folder for saving the exported PDFs.
Single PDF Export: Provide an option to export all tabs into a single PDF.Benefits:
Reduces clutter in the original folder.
Provides greater control over file management.

Multi-language support on UI level
Would be great if our tool supports languages besides English on a UI level. Getting push back from prospects in Taiwan & Korea (Crowe Taiwan, UHY Taiwan & UHY South Korea) as English is not their main language and they find it difficult to navigate a tool that does not support their local language.

Integrate feedback and support to excel
Allow, with userbase licence, to easily give your feedback and fill a support ticket inside excel.
No more need to get on another website, and sign-up / sign-in. Just click on a button, a windows open to complete the form (NPS or support). So we never leave excel again.11 votes -
DataSnipper intergration with DATEV
It would be helpful to have an integration to DATEV e.g. for using DataSnipper in DATEVs "Individuelle Anlagen", analysis etc.

Template output from FE or DM
Currently any output from FE is named "Form Extraction" and the next is differeniated by "Form Extraction #". Instead, I would like the output of a Featured, Company or My Template to be i.e. "Form 5500 - Extract" instead of "Form Extraction" So, if you are using a template from FE or DM, the name of that template should be the name of the Excel tab when you export into Excel.

Folders order setting
Currently, imported folders are not displayed in order of name in the Folders tab within Document Viewer, but it would be good if this could be set so that they are displayed in order of name.

Table Snip in Form Extraction should not be fixed
Under the current table snip in Form Extraction, the table as are fixed which will not account for table length variability. (also and issue with extractions as well). If the table would account for variability, like snip all tables, it would be more functional

Recognition of alternative decimal / a thousand separators
There a many types of documents which use alternative decimal / a thousand separators such as in tax forms or payroll registers. These forms or system print-outs often use pre-set bars or grids to separates figures. It would be extremely helpful if DataSnipper could detect the logic behind these formats and extract information correctly.

Document window setting (Width setting)
Currently, if the name of an imported document is long, the name is not displayed in the window within Document Viewer. This sometimes makes it difficult to identify the document you want to check. To check a specific document, it is necessary to search for it in the filter each time, or to check it each time by hovering the cursor over the name of the document displayed.
To make it easier to identify the document you want to check, especially for documents with long names, it would be good if the width of the document window could be changed.2 votes -
More customization for comments
It would be great to copy and paste comments and add lines or arrows as well.
Currently, users need to put comments throughout button clicks several times, Comments > Type keywords > Edit/ Delete comment (if any).
This is a bit complicating when putting comments often.
Since some clients need to put comments alike frequently, copy-and-paste function would be helpful for them. Besides, they also need to illustrate where the comment corresponds to the item of the document, so adding arrows and line should be also helpful.Although some might say that cross referencing should solve this, recording those information…

It would be great to undo the results by Document Matching because this is irreversible when users have done Document Matching onto cells where they have snipped.

There should be a way in DataSnipper when you are making a snip to check a box that will round the snip to the nearest whole dollar.

Client ID/Reference Code in DS Toolbar
Introducing a feature in the DataSnipper (DS) toolbar to add a client ID number or internal reference code could be a valuable enhancement for your clients. This would allow them to easily track which clients they have used DataSnipper on, and which they haven't, thereby improving their ability to manage and analyze their work across different clients.

Search and snip from only selected files (instead of all of them)
Would like the ability to search and snip within certain files (not all files uploaded). When you filter for files, it will limit the files that appear but when using the search bar it will search through files outside of the filters.

More functionality in organizing imported documents for export
I'd like to be able to reorder pages within the imported documents for the purpose of exporting that doc with that new page order. It would be even more helpful to be able to combine imported documents to create a new document that can then be exported (i.e. combining 10 imported .pdf in the "Invoices" folder into one 10-page .pdf).

Zeros
There's got to be a way to disable searching for all zeros. I select a cell with "0" or "-" and it freezes like 10 seconds + because it is searching for all zeros in all my documents. I ain't no software engineer, but this seems to be an easy fix to a regular Excel user.
