We are constantly looking for ways to improve Datasnipper, and we believe that the best way to do this is by listening to our users. We would love to hear your ideas and suggestions for how we can make the product even better.

  1. Pre-annotated output for Version Comparison

    We are using ABBYY finereader for version comparison check procedures, and that gives us annotated output files with highlights of changes identified and also creates a Summary of differences (word file) noted. Can we also get the same in FS Suite as FSS only gives highlights within tool and not able to give that back in the pdf version.

    We currently haven't prioritized Version Compare, but this is a great piece of feedback, which we'll use when we do focus on VC.

    It will be useful to have some "flags" from FSS when the software identified consistency but does not find any conterpart.

  3. Comments on the right pane

    It seems comments can only be added on the pane to the left, whereas being able to add them to either pane would be very useful, as oftentimes I am reviewing 2 pages in tandem in this screen and want to add a comment on the right, but cannot.

  4. Hyphen identifying a number as a negative balance

    Understand that hyphen/dashes not being recognised as 0's is a common request, however noted one issue where it recognised the number to the right as a negative number due to the dash. Additionaly it would not let me manually add a tickmark in the second column to correct the error.

    I will close this for now. If the financial statement in question can be shared, please do so, and we can investigate further. 

  5. Bug: no backspace/delete when writing a comment

    Wanted to write a comment when there wasn't internal consistency but backspace and delete stopped working.
