Auto populated comments aren't deleted if the red tickmark changed to blue tickmark
Comment regarding IC red to blue where the comment must be manually removed regarding “internal inconsistency noted”. It would be nice if it could be automatically deleted if the tickmark color changed to blue.

Setting up an undo button
It has happened to me several times that I have accidentally clicked on "Remove Suggestion", although I actually only wanted to change or remove a tick mark. I have not yet found a way to restore a suggestion other than by completely reinstalling it. An undo button would be helpful here, or the implementation of a keyboard shortcut such as Ctrl+Z. Ultimately, this applies to all entries in the tool, not just the suggestions.

Edit Numbers within the FSS
Problem: Users often need to edit numbers within the FS once issues or errors are detected, currently that requires them to import and export the document which is time consuming.
Proposed Solution: Have the option to update the values directly within the FSS and mabye have it suggested based on the value within the calculator.

Password protection
V6
I have mentioned this to my account manager but we need to have some form of password protection on Version 6 FSS projects.
We audit firms which hit different criteria and need to lock down audit files. The FSS component being changed now will make it hard to control as its not longer associated to the workbook (which was in a locked audit file).
We wont be using v6 until something like this is enabled unfortunately.

Version compare - ignore headers/footers option
We often use version compare to look at drafts of financial statements, each draft usual has something in the header/footer to show when the draft was made so when looking at these in version compare theres a huge amount of flagged changes that we don't need to look at.
So if a range at the top/bottom could be set to be ignored or if we could enter specific text strings to ignore i.e. the draft message then that would make things much cleaner and the tool significantly more valuable

Automatic "PY" in Internal consistency and prior year
We have just upgraded to the latest FSS version 6.0.11 and are experiencing that the functionality when manually checking off previous year (PY) and internal consistency (IC) has deteriorated. Now, when we first click on the amount, we have to choose whether it matches or not, and then select the amount in the financial statements. It was much better before when PY/IC was pre-filled as if it matched, and you manually had to choose if it didn't match. The new way takes much longer for us.
Similarly, in Internal Consistency, when we select an amount that matches, it does not…

Compare PY and CY Documents Within FSS Version Compare
Create a more clear way to compare a current year financial statement PDF with a prior year financial statement PDF side by side using Version Compare within FSS. Currently a user has to import the PY financial statement as the current year document when initially setting up FSS and then select the CY document as the new version to compare the two documents within FSS.
Since users on professional and basic no longer have access to the standalone Version Compare button, this issue affects these users most.

Flag large differences
Currently, no casting is performed on 'large' differences. It would be good to have these flagged to show DS considered them but the difference was over a certain threshold, or allow the user to set the threshold (including no limit).

Check mathematical accuracy of changes in assets/liabilities on the cash flow statement
Currently, checking the increase/decrease of operating assets and liabilities in the statement of cash flows is a manual process as the tool doesn't currently calculate this using the balance sheet.

prior year consistency
Having the ability to see list of automated references once a figure is clicked. Currently, if FSS does not give any suggestions users have to manually find the data in PY document and perform manual checking.
With automatic reference list (like how it works in Internal Consistency), at least user is able to be brought to the pages where the same number exists and then place their tickmark.2 votes -
Tick Mark application Version 6.1
In Version 5, we could apply manual tick marks by simply clicking on the figure once. However, in Version 6.1, we now need to first select the figure and then choose the type of tick mark from the pop-up window, which adds extra time in V6.1 in FSS

Internal Consistency of numbers calculated in Calculator
I want to use the calculator function to calculate a "Total Amount" that can be referenced / tied to other pages. For example, if I add two numbers on a schedule that equals 300k, I want to agree the 300k to another page.. but cannot tie it out with Internal Consistency as it is the product of two numbers.

Foot and cross foot numbers in table
For numbers on the face of the financials or in tables that include foots and cross-foots, add a new tickmark (such as an "x") to show this number foots ("^") and cross-foots ("<").

Error tolerance when creating suggestion in Mathematical Accuracy
In Mathematical Accuracy, the numbers in the table are added together in a number of ways and if they match the actual total value expressed, it is expressed as a Suggestion, but if they do not match, it is not expressed as a Suggestion. (False Negative)
Even if there is not an exact match to a suggestion and if the gap between the summed result and the displayed total is small, it should be ideally marked as a Suggestion.

Save Total Amounts in Calculator for Further Calculations
Sometimes it is necessary to take two sums and find the difference between them. For example, (Assets + Deferred Outflows) - (Liabilities + Deferred Inflows) = Net Position. Currently, this is only possible by summing all amounts and changing the signs on those technically being subtracted. I would like to be able to sum each set of numbers and copy the total amounts into the subtraction function or to use multiple calculator functions within one calculation.

When automatic suggestion for internal consitency are not given (which is the case in 99%) a user should manually do the ticking. In FSS in DS version 6 the user first needs to click on the number, then on the reference and then on the tickmark. This is one click more than in version 5.
It would be better if a user could click on the number in the balance sheet and P&L and immediatly can click on the reference and makes the tickmark. And the tickmarking is done automaticaly when there is only one reference.

Would it be possible to streamline “saving” changes to the original FSS file with the push of a button and eliminate the need to manually export and import the FSS project during each layer of review?

FSS Calculator for documentation
Within the calculator in V6 FSS, I want to be able to use the calculator to sum up numbers and then apply a tickmark based on that summation, so that when I hand off to my reviewer, the workbook has tickmarks that are indicative of the due diligence performed by me, the preparer.
For example, in tables with amounts in columns A - E, where E contains the total, FSS may incorrectly identify a column C as a summation of A+B, and suggest incorrect TMs all the way down that column. I would want (1) to remove the suggestions from…
