Completely agree with this user. We are a larger firm and utilizing templates is really where the ROI and efficiency of DataSnipper is sold. While there may be commonality in some client reports if they use the same ERP, tweaks are inevitably made to their reporting modules and obviously invoices are formatted differently across all organizations, which means unique templates for each client. In addition, due to our industry and scheduling, there is a high likelihood that our staff will not be working on the same engagement the next year. If we have to house all templates in Company templates, there would be thousands of templates and the organization of the templates will become unmanageable. A more practical solution is to allow our teams to download templates and save them as part of our engagement team binder or on client specific shared drives so that a user next year can just import them straight from there. Until this issue is addressed, the return on investment of the template feature, and DataSnipper as a whole, is severely diminished.
