  2. When importing Excel workbooks, DataSnipper currently creates separate PDFs for each tab, saved in the original folder. This can lead to a cluttered and disorganized folder structure.

    Requested Features:
    Selective Export: Allow users to choose which tabs to export as PDFs.
    Destination Folder Selection: Let users specify a folder for saving the exported PDFs.
    Single PDF Export: Provide an option to export all tabs into a single PDF.

    Benefits:
    Reduces clutter in the original folder.
    Provides greater control over file management.
    Simplifies document management and enhances user experience by allowing a single cohesive view of the entire workbook.

  3. Allow, with userbase licence, to easily give your feedback and fill a support ticket inside excel.
    No more need to get on another website, and sign-up / sign-in. Just click on a button, a windows open to complete the form (NPS or support). So we never leave excel again.

  4. Currently, in Document Matching, Form Extraction, etc., a currency symbol such as "¥" is recognized as a number"1" or "7" when extracting the amount of money, especially if it is handwritten.
    Ideally, improve the accuracy of OCR to distinguish between currency symbol and number.

  5. Under the current table snip in Form Extraction, the table as are fixed which will not account for table length variability. (also and issue with extractions as well). If the table would account for variability, like snip all tables, it would be more functional

  6. Introducing a feature in the DataSnipper (DS) toolbar to add a client ID number or internal reference code could be a valuable enhancement for your clients. This would allow them to easily track which clients they have used DataSnipper on, and which they haven't, thereby improving their ability to manage and analyze their work across different clients.

    Please could you provide some user scenarios for how this would address specific problems that our clients are facing.

    If there are any customers who have mentioned this as a desired feature please link them to the idea so that we can reach out and understand the problem they are trying to solve.

  7. Would like the ability to search and snip within certain files (not all files uploaded). When you filter for files, it will limit the files that appear but when using the search bar it will search through files outside of the filters.

  8. Ability to create excel sheet templates and store them within DataSnipper.

    Problem: Currently external & internal auditors use templates for completing audit procedures. This requires ecxel templates to be created and maintained within a shared document storage such as Sharepoint. Users will then download the files to their local machine. This leads to templates becoming outdated and also having a lack of insights about the useage of the templates.

    It would be valuable to have an option to create, upload and manage excel templates into DataSnipper. This would allow users to create excel file templates directly from DataSnipper. To ensure…

  9. If a snip is edited after the fact (i.e. change the numbers in a sum snip or change the text in a text snip). It would be great to have a clear indication of this.

  13. I would like to be able to disable table snip suggestions as a default setting, that way I don't have to disable that feature in every workbook I open. I don't utilize the suggestions much more often that I do use them, so they tend to get in the way.

  14. When repeating a Table Snip, the rows and columns the user sets in the first Table Snip are not preserved when repeating the Table Snip. The user ends up spending a significant amount of time adjusting the rows and columns for subsequent pages. If the rows/columns were preserved when repeating a table snip it would save users a lot of time doing clean up.

  16. Implement a confidence scoring system to provide users with insights into the accuracy of OCR-extracted text. I envision this feature offering both document-level and word/number-level confidence scores, empowering users to evaluate the reliability of the extracted data and make informed decisions.

    Granular Confidence Levels: Clearly define confidence score ranges (e.g., high, medium, low) and provide corresponding probability values for better interpretability.
    Visual Indicators: Incorporate visual cues (e.g., color-coding, icons) to quickly convey confidence levels, enhancing user experience.

  18. Selecting multiple cells with numbers will automatically show the count, average and sum in the lower brown bar by default.
    If you use text snip, or table snip to extract those numbers, Excel only shows count, and not sum and average. Even when transforming the snipped numbers into an Accounting Number Format. Not a must-have but maybe nice-to-have to integrate in the future

  19. Having the ability to select which document types (folders) are present in a test from the document matching template allows the template to be customized by the user more easily.

    So if the test needs both an invoice and delivery note, the user can select that they dont have a delivery note and the test will still work with just the invoice.

  20. Sometimes the input cell of a document matching setup contains a formula (it is based on other cells within the sheet). It would be nice to maintain this formula when saving the template.
