Stamps added to both CY and PY numbers
From delivery perspective, mathematical accuracy check is not performed for Prior year figures however DS5 also adds stamps for PY numbers automatically which is to be individually removed in post extraction stage. This will lead to an impact on overall efficiency as increased time will be taken to remove the additional stamps.

Editable Stamps Post Extraction
The stamps in the PDF post extraction should be editable, currently it get embedded in the PDF which makes it very difficult to move the stamp post extraction of the file, so it’ll be great if the stamps are editable.

Highlights and Stamps in the PDF itself
Currently, the version comparison functionality makes the highlights and show the snippings in the Excel file, it is great if it highlights the data and add a comment in the PDF itself as it is helpful in documentation

Summary of Findings in an Excel Format
In case of findings the tool should provide the summary of findings in an excel format rather than as a part of the PDF Extracted from the FS Suite as it’ll be more helpful if it is provided in a excel format.

1)In case of PY findings the tool is not showing the corresponding figures in PY FS with which the figure in Current year FS has been compared and shown as finding. This could be done in previous manual version.
2)Also the inefficiencies have increased while performing PY check in current version.14 votes -

Make custom tickmarks more custom
Custom tickmarks has a character limit. It'd be great if this limit was removed or made longer so that we can use workpaper codes, which are usually 4 or more characters long.

If possible, show the two compared documents side by side, after export
Allow the highlighted documents to appear side by side so that differences can be reviewed more easily. We are currently doing this with snips via the Microsoft snipping tool.

Auto populated comments aren't deleted if the red tickmark changed to blue tickmark
Comment regarding IC red to blue where the comment must be manually removed regarding “internal inconsistency noted”. It would be nice if it could be automatically deleted if the tickmark color changed to blue.

The tool should allow user to provide IC wherever necessary, without restricting ICs for numbers alone.
Tool to place ICs on repeated information such as company name, year end date, directors' name etc. If a user selects an information and place IC stamp once, then the tool needs to automatically apply ICs throughout the document wherever it is repeating.

Version Compare Preview (Dual Page Scrolling)
Currently, Version Compare allows you to see a side-by-side view of the differences between documents only in the preview page.
Once the differences are extracted into the Excel workbook, there's no way to go back to the side-by-side view.
It would be great if we could always go back to the side-by-side view for easy visual comparison.

Internal Consistency reading of FN numbers
Could internal consistency read Footnote numbers if they are aligned with the Financial Statement Captions on the face of the FS? In the current state, it has to be in a separate column to activate the automation.

When automatic suggestion for internal consitency are not given (which is the case in 99%) a user should manually do the ticking. In FSS in DS version 6 the user first needs to click on the number, then on the reference and then on the tickmark. This is one click more than in version 5.
It would be better if a user could click on the number in the balance sheet and P&L and immediatly can click on the reference and makes the tickmark. And the tickmarking is done automaticaly when there is only one reference.

Allow for custom tickmarcks to be automatically applied.
After creating a cutom tickmark, it is not possible to make it the default tickmark for every new tickamrk applied. You would have to select each and every one of the new tickmarks (one by one) and change it to the custom tickmark created.

Setting up an undo button
It has happened to me several times that I have accidentally clicked on "Remove Suggestion", although I actually only wanted to change or remove a tick mark. I have not yet found a way to restore a suggestion other than by completely reinstalling it. An undo button would be helpful here, or the implementation of a keyboard shortcut such as Ctrl+Z. Ultimately, this applies to all entries in the tool, not just the suggestions.

Recognize Different Formats of Note Number (ie. B1-1) for FSS IC checks
The note numbers are driven by how Government Treasury (sets the financial reporting requirements for our state entities) has set up their example statements. Sometimes the note numbers are formatted this way (B1-1, B1-2, B1-3, etc) and currently when doing IC test, it does not provide any suggestions. It would be helpful if DataSnipper algorithm can detect these note numbers for IC checks and provide suggestions.

Internal consistency check
Using the internal consistency (IC) check, it’s the same onerous clicking problem as the PY consistency tool. You have to click on the reference that matches and then you have to click on the blue or red IC. Again, it would be helpful if it just automatically added the blue PY as a default.

FSS - Selecting PY numbers
In some cases the tool is not picking up all the PY numbers in the PY check and then I need to manually add the PY’s. When you have to manually click each item twice (click the number and then click which PY (red or blue) and then click elsewhere in the doc to close the box the pops up, it’s very time consuming. I’m wondering if there’s a way to: a) highlight a series of numbers in a row to apply the tickmark to all at the same time AND b) to automatically have it add the blue PY…

IC Tickmark Hyperlinks in Exported PDF
It would be helpful if reviewers were able to click on a hyperlinked IC tickmark in an exported PDF and have it take them to the other page(s) the value is tied out instead of manually having to search for the tie outs.
