More Flexibility in Excel to PDF Import
When importing Excel workbooks, DataSnipper currently creates separate PDFs for each tab, saved in the original folder. This can lead to a cluttered and disorganized folder structure.
Requested Features:
Selective Export: Allow users to choose which tabs to export as PDFs.
Destination Folder Selection: Let users specify a folder for saving the exported PDFs.
Single PDF Export: Provide an option to export all tabs into a single PDF.
Benefits:
Reduces clutter in the original folder.
Provides greater control over file management.
Simplifies document management and enhances user experience by allowing a single cohesive view of the entire workbook.

Another user I interviewed also expressed similar expectations. This user is in Internal Audit, and they work with excel files much more than PDFs.
More description:
Client is in internal audit, and need to import excel files to DataSnipper. DS doesn’t recognize excel workbooks with many sheets well, or excel sheets that has wide tables. A workaround is to take screenshots and import the images, but this is annoying. When uploading excel to DS, the tab names are not easily visible from the document viewer (They all start with the workbook name, then followed by the tab name). The user need to hover over the items in the drop-down to view the full name.

It is very hard to read the tab name and there ends up being a lot of effort to search for the document that is required to be snipped.

Cleaner imports of Excel files that capture formatting accurately and can import data from each tab as individual pages

Regarding importing other Excel workbooks into DataSnipper:
It'd be much easier for the users if the tab name was listed first (instead of the workbook name), so the users can easily see which tab they are clicking into.
Also, it'd be preferred if the workbook tabs would be imported in the order they were originally in, instead of alphabetical order
