The system currently has three value-related options (text [ie. single value], SUM of values, and table/list), there is a fourth option that is missing: custom formula.

What is missing is an option to calculate values that are not only summation but also with subtraction, division, and multiplication (in relation to other cells via cell reference, via fixed value, and via additional snips).

While I can always update the formula after-the-fact in Excel, if I add another cell in the formula or change something other than the format, the manually-entered formula is overwritten and everything returns to a basic SUM formula.

Can we enhance the current "Edit Cell Value" feature to include a system for logging user comments on edits? This would ensure that all changes to cell values are documented, providing a transparent audit trail. Such a feature is important for audit managers, as it helps them detect any discrepancies between edited values and the supporting documentation, whether due to accidental errors or intentional actions. This transparency is essential for maintaining trust and ensuring the integrity of audits.

Goals:
1. Enhance data integrity and audit trail.
2. Increase reviewer confidence in data accuracy.
3. Address user demand for greater transparency in data handling.

Functional Requirements:
1. Notification System - notify users of cell value edits via in-app notifications.
2. Logging System - Implement a logging system that records all cell value edits along with timestamps and user information.
3. Comments: Require users to provide comments explaining the reason for each edit.
4. Version Control - Maintain version history of cell values, allowing users to view previous values and the associated comments.

When manually adjusting the snip, the font of the cell should change to a darker/other shade to indicate that the value has been altered.

A readable PDF file that lists each action taken within Excel. For example, every snip, deleted snip, data added into cells, deleted, etc.

I am currently speaking with a prospect , who said they saw a major value add if they could track every action being done within Excel.

It is possible to make a sum snip, i think it would be a good feature to have an substract snip.
