Extract checkmarks and tickmarks from forms
It would be useful if Form Extraction was able to extract checkmarks and tickmarks from form boxes. This is prevalent on many tax forms as well as some forms audit teams review during test of detail.

Under company templates, there should be an option of a search bar in order to search for specific templates, as in those cases where there a huge number of templates created under company templates section, it becomes a tedious task when looking for a specific template.

Auto name extraction by key / snip to name
Set key behaviour to help more accurately get it right automatically i.e. search left or above etc, a lot of forms the key wanted its directly left or above so if this could be set then when creating extractions with a lot of fields it would speed things up tremendously

Form Extraction for ADP Master Control Reports
Form extraction does not extract well from ADP Master Control Reports which is relevant for EBP audits. The decimals also do not extract from these reports.

If formula in form extraction
Can you add an 'if.. then' functionality in Form extraction? This is especially useful for the extract multiple lines per row option, for example IF the bank transaction has a description, THEN extract the description and if not, don't extract the data. Currently you risk having other data in the description column even if it is actually not a description. (this could also be fixed by being able to extract multiple keys for the extract multiple lines per row option).

Sum Snip within Form extraction
It would be great if users could automatically sum certain parts of each document/page automatically.
For certain documents, users need to extract various amounts using FE and then sum them in Excel.
With Sum Snip inside of FE, we could automatically generate an extraction that is a sum of many. Saving time and saving on the number of extractions done.6 votes -
Form Extraction: the output will shift to eliminate blank columns. Output columns need to be consistent for use in workpapers
In a client discussion, when using a form extraction template the extraction came up with an error that certain fields could not be found. I assume that is an issue with finding keys. However, then the output would be shifted to create an output without spaces which makes it inconsistent with the rest of the extraction outputs.
If a key/extraction isn't found, the output columns should remain fixed so as to create a consistent table that can be copied and pasted into workpapers.

FE: export results to an existing sheet
It would be nice if there was an option in form extraction to export the results to a certain sheet that is already existing in the workpaper. So immediately export the form extraction sheet to the test sheet.

multiple keys for dynamic form sections
multiple keys for dynamic form sections
Lots of orders & invoices we'd like to use form extraction against fall down when the documents middle section can change sizes and the bottom part moves with it, so commonly where there's a breakdown of costs and then the total is summarised.
If we could set multiple keys to determine the start and end point to extract from that would alleviate this issue since the bottom bit is a fixed layout but moves with the section above and the start of the above section don't move then it should work nicely

Need a spot to enter a "Date Mask"
Using form extraction with a specific document results in some unfortunate date reading errors. All dates in document are M/D/YYYY, but DataSnipper dates default to D/M/YYYY format until it hits a date that's impossible otherwise. The result is that dates when extracted are in a mixed D/M/Y and M/D/Y format based on what day of the month was read in. To explain another way, while the source document would show February 1, 2023 and February 25, 2023 as 2/1/2023 and 2/25/2023 respectively, DataSnipper will extract them as 1/2/2023 and 2/25/2023.
There are no controls for telling DataSnipper to use one…
