Option to undo the ''remove header'' option once applied
Would like to have an option to undo "remove header'' in the table snip or have an option to add that back if it's been removed by mistake.

Disable table snip suggestions by default
I would like to be able to disable table snip suggestions as a default setting, that way I don't have to disable that feature in every workbook I open. I don't utilize the suggestions much more often that I do use them, so they tend to get in the way.

Excel showing count, not sum and average
Selecting multiple cells with numbers will automatically show the count, average and sum in the lower brown bar by default.
If you use text snip, or table snip to extract those numbers, Excel only shows count, and not sum and average. Even when transforming the snipped numbers into an Accounting Number Format. Not a must-have but maybe nice-to-have to integrate in the future1 vote -
Preserve Row and Columns When Repeating Table Snip
When repeating a Table Snip, the rows and columns the user sets in the first Table Snip are not preserved when repeating the Table Snip. The user ends up spending a significant amount of time adjusting the rows and columns for subsequent pages. If the rows/columns were preserved when repeating a table snip it would save users a lot of time doing clean up.
3 votesWhen repeating table snips, the column preservations makes sense and should be in place already.
How would you suggest addressing row edit preservation? Preserving table 1's row edit assumes that each row height will be consistent for repeating tables. Is this the case that you are hoping to solve?
If rows are dynamic in height, row preservation unfortunatley would not resolve the core issue.
Do you have a different view on how this should work.

Ability to recognise and extract small tables
When adding specific page numbers to snip tables from (in v6), certain tables which have less than 3 rows and columns are not extracted. Would like if all tables irrespective of the number of rows and columns are extracted.

Optionality to exclude columns/rows from a snipped table
Table snips is a great feature, but it would be nice if I could choose columns or rows that I want to exclude from a table snip - I know you can do this once the table snips is in Excel, but it would be nice if I could do this while working in the Table snip feature itself... for example, let's say I have a table with 7 columns, and I only want to bring over 3 of those seven columns into Excel. It would be nice if I could work within a Table snip and basically only bring…

Reference within table
Table snip creates 1 purple reference cell.
If this table is grouped, this leads to 1 reference to potentially a large volume of data (can span multiple pages). In order to navigate quickly within that dataset (for quality confirmation or other reasons), this requires a manual scroll or a search. Rather including more reference options to easily find the correct location within the table.

Automatically adjusting row height and column width when table snipping
When people use table snip it snips all the tables into the cells but the user has to then manually adjust the rows and columns and even if its the Excel shortcuts that save time like (alt+h+o+a and alt+h+o+i) it still takes time.
What if when users use table snip we automatically adjust the rows and columns to the right size?
Would that be helpful for users and would it be possible on the product/development side?

This has been deferred as as aim to force a change to excel's functionality as far as possible. Automatically resizing columns and rows for a user may not be desired in all scenarios (i.e. if there are other data points outside of the table range with different column and row dimensions.

Snip all tables - Adding rows in Excel / avoid overwriting
When applying snip all tables and then starting to adjust the number of rows in the document its likely that this will overwrite data in Excel from tables extracted below. Maybe DS can move consecutive tables in case of adjustment of previous tables (adding a row in excel).

Rotate imported image by small degrees
It would be nice if we had the ability to slightly rotate an image by a small degree. For example, if a PDF has a poor scan of an image and lets say that image is slightly skewed, it'd be nice to rotate that image to a degree less than 90 degrees... for example, let's say, I just want to rotate the image to the left, say, 2-3% degrees so that the columns are more up-and-down rather than slightly skewed.

'Key' column for Table Snip
In most cases where table snip is being used, rows have text split over multiple lines, which table snip incorrectly interprets as multiple rows. This issue is significant when dealing with large PDFs as each table snip has to be edited manually.
A simple way to solve this would be to have a 'key' column which the user selects, which tells table snip where to look to determine where the rows should be. For example, there might be a single date or value for each row (despite multiple text lines within the same row), and selecting this to be the…

WebSnip - HTML Table Extraction
Within the websnip currently the table extraction works very well, however given that HTML Pages will have a table included in code it would be even better if you were able to auto-table snip the table based on code.
This would have multiple benefits such as making tabular extraction more accurate and improved UX in extracting tabular data.

Table Snip Templates
Ability to save Table Snip templates. Example: on a recurring basis investment reports are received, where only a subset of tables is to be extracted. Being able to save the specific table set as template would allow for efficiente extraction of tabular data upon receipt of the reports.

Table snip - repeat snip for all pages in folder
When chosing the repeat table snip option, add an option to repeat table snip 'all pages in folder'. This is useful when the tables are in different pdf documents.

Table Snip larger files (600 pages+)
Table Snip "times out" when trying to apply the table snip to all pages of a large document (ex 600 pages). After disabling "table snip suggestions," the initial document upload process moved a little quicker, but extracting the table took hours. Improving the speed of the "apply to all pages" function would be helpful.
