Quick way to insert workpaper reference in PDF
Request to implement a feature in DataSnipper where users can insert work paper references in PDF in easy and quick way (e.g. one-click of “ref insert” button).
To elaborate more on this use case:
For example, when conducting a balance confirmation as part of the audit procedures, all the information (amounts, etc.) stated in the confirmation letter (PDF) collected should be verified and linked to the relevant audit working papers. To keep a record of this linkage, it is required to include the workpaper reference near the applicable information (amounts, etc.) within the confirmation letter. To meet this requirement, auditors have to enter all the references manually using the "Comment" feature in DataSnipper, which can be a bit time-consuming.
There may be cases where the workpaper reference to be included in a single PDF is singular, as well as cases where it can be multiple.
