XBRL
The NBA just recently published the NBA Alert 50
This basically says we must compare the statutory accounts (financial statement) with the XBRL financial statements (either before or after it is rendered to a readable format for us) to ensure the content is in alignment (and thus the company can publish the XBRL file accompanied with our auditor’s report).
o XBRL comes down to that the statutory accounts are ‘tagged’ using a taxonomy to make it machine readable.
That raises the question to what extent the FSS could be used for this compare, in essence all the disclosure notes (text) and figures should be in there, following the structure of the XBRL (taxonomy). This should make it possible to instruct the algorithm to match the more unstructured statutory accounts in PDF to the XBRL (either rendered or not).
o Note in general there are 3/4 basic ways the KvK (chamber of commerce) renders the XBRL files: micro sized; small, medium and for 2025 large which all renders to specific rules/details. Most common for our work are I guess small/medium and large (in numbers medium?)
