Tablesnip - Color considerations in table snip
Can Table Snip take colors into account in a PDF?
For example, I have a PDF that is an inventory list. Some of the product names span multiple lines, which causes Table Snip to create multiple rows, that I have to adjust for the corret formatting.
The rows have different colors in the PDF document, so is it possible for table snip to look at the colors instead of the text?
That way, I can avoid making a lot of adjustments across all the tables in my PDF where this issue occurs, and I have to adjust til rows.

File Path
It would be great if there was another way to see the file path of imported files, such as in the document organizer, to ensure all files were imported from the correct place (i.e. a shared drive) before turning off the "embed PDFs" option. Sometimes the "Datasnipper" tab does not show up when a file is imported, maybe it was previously deleted for example, and this appears to be the only way to view the file path of an imported file.

Workbook Scanner - Document Names
Workbook scanner: Would like the ability to expand or review document names within the excel documents so you can remotely review for accuracy rather than needing to open new windows.

It would be beneficial to have some kind of Markup summary / window, similar to “show all comments”.

Company Templates Access Control
It would be very useful to have the ability to share a Template within the organization, but limit access to specific users or groups. This would allow for better control over who can view or use certain Templates, especially in larger teams with different roles or responsibilities.

Excel Slowness
DataSnipper makes Excel launch significantly slower than if we have the add-in disabled. There is also random freezes that occur which do not happen if the add-in is disabled. Is there something that can be done to improve this? We are running the latest version of the add-in 25.1.7.0

Please fix the Sum Snip function
The latest version 25.1.7 has broken the Sum Snip function.
You won't be able to sum up figures into a merged cell. You have to unmerge the cell first. Otherwise, it will behave as if the OCR was not done.
Please fix it, thanks.2 votes -
One snip across two different pages -> more than one snip per cell
Critical information in documents sometimes runs across multiple pages, or at least two. To snip that information, I need to make separate snips, and I cannot add the information from cells A1 and B1 into solely A1. Would it technically be possible to add multiple snips, from potentially different pages, into one cell?

Add 'signature validation' from AI Suggestions
Add a new extraction to the AI Suggested fields generated from identity documents under Advanced Document Extraction to include a text snip on signatures as part of compliance testings - looking for the handwritten signature that is typically denoted as "Signature" or "Signature of Employee" on US I-9 Forms for example. The text could be exported to Excel in green / as validation snip the signature 'fuzzy matches' the "First Name" + "Last Name" of the document.

Identify Percentages
Currently, Datasnipper does not have the capability to see percentage signs in order to document match percentages in excel to a document. It leaves those columns blank because, for example, excel sees 0.01% but DataSnipper sees that in excel as 0.001 and is unable to match that to a document. Adding the functionality to be able to document match percentages would help out a lot for the reports we review.

XBRL
The NBA just recently published the NBA Alert 50
This basically says we must compare the statutory accounts (financial statement) with the XBRL financial statements (either before or after it is rendered to a readable format for us) to ensure the content is in alignment (and thus the company can publish the XBRL file accompanied with our auditor’s report).
o XBRL comes down to that the statutory accounts are ‘tagged’ using a taxonomy to make it machine readable.
That raises the question to what extent the FSS could be used for this compare, in essence all the…1 vote -
Improve set value manually
I created a snip where DataSnipper can't identify the value. A pop up is appearing and I can enter the value manually
Afterwards I adjust the cell value manually in the cell or per right click on the snip -> "edit Cell Value" the change of the value is available in the cell
If I now stay in the same cell, click on Control and add additional Snips to this cell, the adjusted value is set back to the original value.
The same happens if as example I originally defined a value, added 1 or more snips into the same…

Automatically identifying when imports are not right-side up
I was just importing alot of PDF files into DataSnipper and several of them were scanned upside down and whatnot - and it occurred to me, it would be nice if DataSnipper had a feature that "automatically" identifiedd when an imported document were not right-side up, so to speak. It would be nice if the document was automatically right-side up or if there was a feature that identified imported documents that were not right-side up and suggested fixing the imports in bulk.

Renaming pasted screenshots
Since the last DS Update renaming pasted screenshots doesn't work anymore. You can click on "Rename document", enter a new file name, but after clicking "Ok" the screenshot is still named "Screenshot (0)", "Sceenshot (1)" etc. This makes document management or finding the right imported screenshot very difficult and inefficient. It would be grate if this feature (renameing pasted screenshots) would be possible again.

"Select ALL Tables"
After using "Snip all Tables", I'd like to be able to select all cells and add a filter over the entire extraction. Currently, if I started extraction in cell A1, CTRL+A (short cut to select all) can be limited to the extract of page 1. In an example, tables extracted from 114 pages took me 30 seconds to select all. This is important so (1) users can filter the columns and (2) check for completeness of the extraction (i.e. is there an extraction from every page?).

Matching items that contain a midpoint in their name
Item names that contain a midpoint are less accurate for matching.
For example, if you try to match the word ‘ダイナミック・イノベーション’ with the word 'ダイナミックイノベーション' in a document, the word does not match exactly.
When matching company and product names, for example, it is desirable to have a logic to recognize them as the same keywords, as there are many cases where the sample data for Document Matching includes the mid-point, but the document does not (and vice versa).2 votes -
Bank Statement extraction model
Similar to invoice/contract/receipt extraction models, if there could be something to more easily convert Bank statements into easy to work with excel data that would be ideal. Table Snip can be a pain to use on large multipage statements as the headers on page one can differ to page 2, the row sizes can vary a bunch by the description lengths of transactions so sometimes need to manually mess with rows, some bank statements don't have a column for Debit & Credit so just include cr/dr next to the balance.
Bank statements are one of the most viewed types of…

Export functionality -
In previous version adobe export created one file with an indexing functionality that has all pdf's in one file. For example when we imbed confirmations into an excel file, we want to export those confirmations into one pdf, versus individual pdfs.
