Enhancing the ability within Document Matching step 3 to limit the amount threshold
Enhancing the ability within Document Matching step 3 to limit the amount threshold in a certain direction. For example in Step 3, I would like to add an Amount threshold for an input of GL Date Recorded to look for values after +3 days of input date. This would be helpful in SURL and AP testing in TODs.

If formula in form extraction
Can you add an 'if.. then' functionality in Form extraction? This is especially useful for the extract multiple lines per row option, for example IF the bank transaction has a description, THEN extract the description and if not, don't extract the data. Currently you risk having other data in the description column even if it is actually not a description. (this could also be fixed by being able to extract multiple keys for the extract multiple lines per row option).

Snip all tables - Adding rows in Excel / avoid overwriting
When applying snip all tables and then starting to adjust the number of rows in the document its likely that this will overwrite data in Excel from tables extracted below. Maybe DS can move consecutive tables in case of adjustment of previous tables (adding a row in excel).

Form Extraction: the output will shift to eliminate blank columns. Output columns need to be consistent for use in workpapers
In a client discussion, when using a form extraction template the extraction came up with an error that certain fields could not be found. I assume that is an issue with finding keys. However, then the output would be shifted to create an output without spaces which makes it inconsistent with the rest of the extraction outputs.
If a key/extraction isn't found, the output columns should remain fixed so as to create a consistent table that can be copied and pasted into workpapers.

Enhance "Find All Sums" to capture table across pages
It would be nice that we enable "Find All Sums" to capture tables that are cut-up by page breaks.

Enhance "Find All Sums" algorithm to increase accuracy
Client reported that with some financial documents in Mandarin Chinese, Find All Sums cannot correctly identify items on the balance sheet, and excluding it from the sum result.
There could be further investigation on what's causing these issues, and whether we can fix them.

Sum Snip within Form extraction
It would be great if users could automatically sum certain parts of each document/page automatically.
For certain documents, users need to extract various amounts using FE and then sum them in Excel.
With Sum Snip inside of FE, we could automatically generate an extraction that is a sum of many. Saving time and saving on the number of extractions done.9 votes -
'Key' column for Table Snip
In most cases where table snip is being used, rows have text split over multiple lines, which table snip incorrectly interprets as multiple rows. This issue is significant when dealing with large PDFs as each table snip has to be edited manually.
A simple way to solve this would be to have a 'key' column which the user selects, which tells table snip where to look to determine where the rows should be. For example, there might be a single date or value for each row (despite multiple text lines within the same row), and selecting this to be the…

multi-snips not all highlighting

Request Snip
Users spend a lot of time building PBC request lists when a lot of this information is already contained in prior year workpapers, sometimes you have examples from proforma clients or other templates which you would want to share with your client.
The request snip could allow users to snip a document or a table of sample items in a workpaper and then automatically populate and send the request through the relevant PBC portal.

Toggle on the add-in
This is for those that have multiple add-ins on their Microsoft Excel program that may not use DataSnipper every time Excel is opened. The DataSnipper add-in is loaded 100% of the time - it would be helpful to have some convenient toggle to “turn on” or “turn off” some or all of the add-in features. This can be done using File > Options but it’s inconvenient.

Multiple Form Extraction Keys
Users can define multiple extraction keys, which serve as specific identifiers or keywords to locate and extract relevant data from forms. By setting multiple keys, our system gains a deeper understanding of the form's structure, ensuring more accurate data extraction.

WebSnip - HTML Table Extraction
Within the websnip currently the table extraction works very well, however given that HTML Pages will have a table included in code it would be even better if you were able to auto-table snip the table based on code.
This would have multiple benefits such as making tabular extraction more accurate and improved UX in extracting tabular data.

sum function and delete snips
I hope this message finds you well.
I am writing to seek your assistance with an issue I've encountered in DataSnipper. Currently, the SUM function does not seem to work when trying to sum numbers across continuous pages - For example, if I have the numbers 10, 20, and 30 on page one and 30 on page two for a total sum of 90, the function does not compute the sum. It appears the app overlooks such items, impeding efficient data manipulation.
Alongside this, I am wondering if there's a way to exclusively apply the 'document matching' and delte snips…

Overview validation & exception snips
Feedback from internal audit client: it would be nice if DS could run an overview of the number of validation and exception snips in an excel worksheet. Since we normally replace the V or X in the cell with text, it is not possible to run an IF formula. Therefore we'd like to have DS summarize this for us.

Expand OCR capabilities within Form Extraction
Perhaps this already exists - I am not aware of it existing - but while I love the Form Extraction functionality, I find that there are often times where I am working in documents of similar format and presentation but with slightly different dimensions, meaning, Form Extraction works great on a standardized form (e.g., a tax standardized form), but let's say I am importing pay stubs for 100 employees and I want to use Form Extraction to add snips to those stubs and extract data, the moment that one of those pay stubs has an added line (i.e., a one…

Table Snip Templates
Ability to save Table Snip templates. Example: on a recurring basis investment reports are received, where only a subset of tables is to be extracted. Being able to save the specific table set as template would allow for efficiente extraction of tabular data upon receipt of the reports.
