Extract checkmarks and tickmarks from forms
It would be useful if Form Extraction was able to extract checkmarks and tickmarks from form boxes. This is prevalent on many tax forms as well as some forms audit teams review during test of detail.

DataSnipper will help determine the sample size and select the defined samples from the general ledger, taking materiality and other factors
Since DataSnipper now assists in matching samples with relevant supporting documents, it would be great if it could also handle sample size selection, making it a one-stop platform for both selecting and testing samples.

Disable table snip suggestions by default
I would like to be able to disable table snip suggestions as a default setting, that way I don't have to disable that feature in every workbook I open. I don't utilize the suggestions much more often that I do use them, so they tend to get in the way.

Adding the SAME comment across multiple imports
It would be a nice feature to be able add a comment across multiple imports at the same time... let's say for example, I have 100 PDFs that are imported and as a reviewer, I have gone through maybe a handful of those imports (say, 40 out of the 100) when I need to transition to something else, it'd be nice to have a feature to say, - hey, on these imported documents, I want to add a "Reviewed by AG on 9/19/2024"... something like that... I was also thinking it would be nice to add, say, sequential comments across…

OCR identifies potential PII (personal identifiable information)
I am not sure if this falls under another category, but I was thinking it would be a nice feature to identify anything in imported documents that could potentially be considered personal identifiable information (PII). For example, perhaps an option under the "Remove" drop down, you could click a button that scans all imported documents for account numbers or social security numbers, etc. Not necessarily a feature that will redact this for you, but just looks for some generic patterns that might suggest that this is PII that would need to be redacted from the imported files.

Zooming in and zooming out feature on all imported documents
Minor wish list here, but it would be nice to be able to set a zoom % for all imported documents rather than having to do it on each individual document. And I am not certain about this, but I think when you zoom in or out on an imported document, that zoom setting that was previously selected does retain. In other words, I think you have to reset the zoom every time on an individual document.

Include page numbers in export to excel in Form Extraction (per page)
I want the ability to see the page numbers in Export to Excel as they are shown in the preview of Form Extraction, extract per page.

Intuitive Template Deletion
Can we implement a more intuitive method for deleting DM/FE templates, such as using a three dots menu? The current method, which requires a right-click, is not user-friendly. A more straightforward deletion process would simplify template management and reduce user frustration

Customization for document match templates
Having the ability to select which document types (folders) are present in a test from the document matching template allows the template to be customized by the user more easily.
So if the test needs both an invoice and delivery note, the user can select that they dont have a delivery note and the test will still work with just the invoice.

Automatically apply OCR should automatically run OCR on all documents, not only those that have no text layer
The automatically Apply OCR run only when there is no text detected in the document. By default, if there is text detected, it wont run.
I would prefer an option to automatically run OCR on all imported documents, irrespective of their initial status.

Document Matcing snip integrity check
I was document matching (DM) a large PDF file the other day and while I was reviewing the DM output, it occurred to me that it would be nice to have a feature where DataSnipper could quickly identify discrepancies (or better said, lack of consistency) across the uploaded PDF files and the DM that was performed... for example, let's say the uploaded documents are different (so, Form Extraction is not an option), but there are some consistent documents - i.e., invoices or bills of lading are included in the PDF import. It would be nice if DM had the ability…

Export OCR PDF file >> keep OCR
If I, after running OCR on a PDF, export the pdf to my computer, the text is unrecognized and I can't search it anymore using for example Acrobat. It would be nice and usefull if a PDF that was text recognised, stays that way after export.

Control featured templates available to team
it would be nice if I could control the Featured templates from my DataSnipper dashboard; it would be ideal if we could pick and choose which are relevant to us rather than it being an all or nothing from your side.

Provide further options for configuring private OCR endpoints
Currently, it is only possible to authenticate to the OCR endpoint using an API key. There are other (more secure) authentication methods available to be configured on these resources within Azure. It would be beneficial if DataSnipper would support changing the authentication method that DataSnipper uses

Automatically resize columns with snipped data
Problem statement: Sometimes when DataSnipper places snips the text is longer than the column width is sized for, this results in lack of readability and excel displays ####, the user must then manually resize columns (using ALT + OCA or Double clicking the headers).
Solution Suggestion: Can DataSnipper programatically resize the column width to automatically show all data when its snipped?

Formulae in sample for Template
Sometimes the input cell of a document matching setup contains a formula (it is based on other cells within the sheet). It would be nice to maintain this formula when saving the template.

File Size Bar
Can we consider adding a bar in the document viewer or organizer to monitor the total size of imported documents? It would display how close users are to the recommended 100MB limit, offering a visual guide to help them manage file size, even if they choose to exceed it.

View full name of documents
Now you can only see a few characters and not the full name of documents in the viewer. It would be nice to see the full name of documents or change the size of the window so that the full name is visible.

Document Matching flagging exceptions
Document Matching linking for exceptions. i.e. search for the date and, even if it finds the incorrect date, it should link to the date identified and flag this as either correct or incorrect. This is different to rounding but rather incorporating the Advanced Extraction idea to know which field to reconcile.

Allow dynamic input columns when using document matching templates
Allow dynamic input columns when using document matching templates. i.e. column C is the input selected in the template. If a column is added before column C then that input column changes from column C to D to ensure that the input to output remains aligned.
